Frequently Asked Questions

How often should the lawn be mowed?

During spring and summer (April–September) mowing every 7–10 days is recommended. In autumn, as growth slows, every 15–20 days is sufficient. Kocaeli's wet climate means lawns grow quickly and regular care should not be neglected.

What is the correct mowing height?

For a general garden lawn, 4–5 cm is the ideal cutting height. Going below 2 cm leaves the grass vulnerable to sun damage and drought stress — a common and costly mistake.

Can the lawn be mowed in wet weather?

No — mowing wet grass is both dangerous for the equipment and harmful for the lawn. Watering should also be delayed by 24 hours after mowing to allow the cut tips to heal.

Why is scarification (aeration) necessary?

Over time, a layer of thatch (moss and dead root debris) builds up beneath the grass, blocking water and air from reaching the roots. Scarifying once or twice a year prevents yellowing and keeps the lawn in peak health.

Can I arrange a seasonal maintenance agreement?

Yes — we offer annual or seasonal maintenance packages arranged at the start of the season. You benefit from a fixed price advantage while your lawn stays under regular, professional care throughout the year.
